There have been more tears than normal as Rowan is teething, growing, and now has a summer cold. He's not the happiest of children right now. Although, I'm very blessed in that when he is crying and crabby I right away know something is wrong. For the most part Rowan is the sweetest little boy. He loves giving kisses over and over and over again, and I often have to stop him. Of course that's just to wipe the drool off my own face before we start the kissing again. He's also learned hugs and loves giving them.
A few days ago Rowan saw our, sorry, my cat Noli and popped out with, "kitty!" It's so great to hear him talk and recognize things around him. Of course you have to get the passy out of his mouth long enough for that to happen, but when it does it's great!
Along with the teething and growing pains that Rowan is having to deal with, he's also having to now live with the hair cut I decided he needed. His bangs kept falling into his eyes and were causing him a lot of aggravation. So I grabbed a pair of cutting shears that Will had in his shaving kit and combed out his bangs. And of course just as I started to trim, Rowan moved and I cut :0( It's really not to bad but we have to keep it swept to the side to keep him from looking like a girl! I do have some solace in the knowledge that his hair is out of his eyes. :)
Will is out helping some friends of ours put up fencing to house their exotic sheep. Regular fencing of course will not do as these horned animals can jump well over 6 feet, so I expect Will to be very tired when he finally does get home.
Well my Little Bit is awake from his second nap of the day, so I gotta go play now!
